Ivan Urits, MD
Executive Editor
Ivan Urits, MD is a Double Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Medicine Physician practicing in Wareham, Massachusetts. Dr. Urits attended Boston College before earning his medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. After returning to the Boston Area, Dr. Urits completed both his residency in anesthesia and fellowship in interventional pain medicine through Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He has clinical interests in minimally invasive procedures such as nerve ablation, decompression procedures, injection therapy, and implantable devices including spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery.

Dr. Urits is a Clinical Instructor of Anesthesiology at LSU Health Sciences School of Medicine and is actively involved in research with the medical students, residents, and fellows. He currently has over 250 PubMed indexed research article publications and he serves on the Editorial Board of several prestigious peer-reviewed journals.

Omar Viswanath, MD
Publishing Director
Omar Viswanath, MD is a Double Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Medicine Physician practicing in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and his Medical Degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He then completed his anesthesiology residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center of Florida in Miami Beach, Florida where he also served as chief resident, and his interventional pain medicine fellowship at Harvard-Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

He is a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at LSU Health Sciences School of Medicine, Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Creighton University School of Medicine, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. He is actively involved in research with the medical students, residents, and fellows at all three medical schools. He currently has over 350 PubMed indexed research article publications and he serves on the Editorial Board of several prestigious peer-reviewed journals.

Michele Moscato

Michele Moscato spent more than 15 years working for the University of Pavia, Italy as a librarian in the medicine field. The experience gained in such a position lead him to be nominated Production Manager at Haematologica, currently one of the top worldwide journals in hematology. After more than 15 years passed working for this journal, Michele decided to create PAGEPress as the first Italian Open Access publisher. In addition to continuing to serve as CEO of PAGEPRESS Publications, Michele plays an integral role as Chief Advisory Editor for Open Medical Publishing.

Amber Edinoff, MD
Managing Editor
Amber Edinoff attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at UC Berkeley. Her areas of interest include women’s mental health, addiction psychiatry and emergency psychiatry. She is passionate about people’s stories and the interconnectedness of the human experience. As a Managing Editor at Open Medical Publishing, she is responsible for several journals, for which she takes care of all the publishing phases. Her goal is to ensure cooperation between the authors of the papers, the Editors-in-Chief and the Reviewers, in order to achieve complete satisfaction of all the parts.

Benjamin Kuhn is the web specialist and technical director at Open Medical Publishing. He received his degree in Business Marketing at the University of Wisconsin. In addition, he has over twenty years of experience in business marketing, UI/UX design and web development.
